Think of a business with deficits worth $5. 5 Billion, debts of $19 Billion, poor product portfolio, quickly decreasing business and reducing brand benefit. Now ask yourself would you purchase such an organization? The obvious response is probably not although would you re consider got you regarded that in 3-5 years time the company would be the third largest automaker in the world and one of the most successful? (Renault, 2010) Such is a case in the phenomenal transformation brought about by Carlos Ghosn when he took over the reins in the Japanese vehicle maker Nissan. Carlos Ghosn- The Convert Artist

Carlos was born in Brazil in 1954. His parents had been both of Lebanese origin. Since childhood he showed credible signs of strong leadership qualities, analytical abilities and managing capabilities. He was brought up amidst students from a variety of civilizations which urged him to understand 5 different languages (Arabic, Costa da prata, French, English language and Japanese). Straight following graduation he was recruited by simply French tyre company Michelin where he offered for 18 years. He joined Renault (French auto maker) in 1996 in which he earned the nick identity, ‘Le Cost-killer'. After Renault's publicly criticized alliance with Nissan, Yoshikazu Hanawa (CEO Nissan) expected that Carlos join Machine as COO in 1999. The " Machine Magic”- Case Summary

Carlos arrived in The japanese with no familiarity with the traditions there. He once said, " Some try to master too much regarding Japan prior to coming, mainly because I didn't want to have way too many preconceived suggestions.
