My interviewee started her career path with an Associate's degree in Nursing. As a new graduate student in nursing jobs, her initially job in nursing was at an acute care placing on a telemetry unit. After two years as a staff registered nurse in telemetry she was promoted to charge nurse and remained in this location for three years. She in that case decided to further her education in breastfeeding but still needed to work full time. To her gain, her workplace had recently partnered plan a university offering online and traditional programs. Eventually, the online fast track RN-BSN was her option of decision. It took her 18 months to get her BSN from the University of Phoenix, arizona. After completing her BSN, anticipating her was a promotion for a supervisor situation on the telemetry unit. The girl accepted the positioning and remained in this positon for seven years. During that time, she also served in the role of interim manager and was instrumental in planning and implementing the electronic wellness record.
